In 2021, Seiko introduced the all-new Speedtimer series, a solar-powered chronograph sport watch that inherits the classic and sporty design of the Seiko "1969 Speed Timer" with curved sapphire glass. The dial on the watch has a sand-grained pattern that suppresses light reflection, achieving high visibility unique to a full-scale sports watch—bringing this classy look sports watch to an even higher standard.
In 2022, a new "Icy-Blue" Limited Edition color joined the line, in a limited production quantity of 10,000 pieces only, the dial and concept were inspired by the brilliance and transparency of a Crystal Trophy, which honors the challenges and spirits of athletes.
