Known as the "tree of life" to many indigenous peoples in parts of South America. Mesquite pods are in the legume family. The flavour is a malty, caramel sweetness with notes of molasses and nuts.

How to Use

Add 1-2 tsp to smoothies, elixirs, and desserts. Delicious as a sweet-savoury seasoning for homemade BBQ sauce.
